Join Elisabeth Brooke in conversation exploring women healers through history. There will also be a Q&A session at the end.
Elisabeth Brooke qualified as a Medical Herbalist with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists in 1980 and as a counsellor at the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust in 1989.

This expanded and d edition of the classic 1993 title, traces a lineage that spans the centuries in a revisionist history that celebrates women in medicine from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome through to the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the present day.
Elisabeth's appreciation of the politics of medicine has lead to this revised edition featuring brand-new sections on community medicine; indigenous healers; end-of-life care and twentieth-century pioneers such as Rosemary Gladstar, Ina May Gaskin and Louise Hay.
T?his edition is available now from Aeon Books with a 20% discount until 30th November. Please use the code WH20. You can get your copy here
