Celebrate the launch of Foraged Condiments – Wild Plant Recipes for Sauces, Chutneys, Ferments and Drinks with author and forager Natasha Lloyd at this special talk and book signing event, happening during Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Beautifully illustrated and rich with flavour, Foraged Condiments is a celebration of wild food and the joy of working with plants. Natasha shares a collection of inventive recipes using foraged ingredients - from beetroot and hogweed seed sauce, to limeflower tonic water, and hawthorn bitters - alongside reflections on traditional Scottish plants, their clinical uses, history and scientific integration.
Having grown up foraging with her mother and later managing her own croft and smallholding, Natasha’s work spans from crafting cocktails and condiments at the Fife Arms Hotel to leading foraging walks in the Cairngorms. She now works remotely with Napiers’ herbal medicine clinics and serves as a director of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.
