The Women of Cacao Summit 2025 invites cacao and craft chocolate professionals from across the globe to a free four-day, fully virtual event dedicated to advancing sustainability, equity, innovation, and cultural preservation within the cacao sector.
Between 18th - 21st September industry leaders will convene online to share expertise and wisdom from new research to indigenous stories, and business insights - connecting every link in the cacao value chain.
The summit offers a rare opportunity for farmers, makers, scientists, chocolatiers, entrepreneurs, policy advocates, and educators to collaborate in shaping the future of cacao - from farm to fine chocolate.
This year’s program features:
- Keynotes from women leading in sustainability science, post-harvest innovation, and
heritage preservation.
- Technical panels on genetics, agroforestry, and climate resilience.
- Business-focused sessions on ethical trade models and transparency, market
diversification, and storytelling for premium cacao.
- Cross-cultural dialogues bridging indigenous knowledge systems with modern
industry practices.
- Virtual networking designed for intimate collaboration and connections.
Aeon author Marcos Patchett will be delivering a talk on uncovering cacao’s ancient pharmacology and ritual history, on Sunday 21st at 12.30PM.
Whether you’re a cacao facilitator, a wellness practitioner, an chocolate entrepreneur, or someone who simply loves cacao and chocolate, this event is one you won't want to miss!
