Join herbalist Julia Behrens for Hidden Voices in Herbal Medicine, a one-day immersive workshop exploring the forgotten figures, historical texts, and cultural traditions that have shaped herbal practice.
Through hands-on engagement with original herbals and rare texts, Julia will bring to life the teachings of pioneers such as William Coffin and Thomas Beech, alongside the visionary plant wisdom of Hildegard von Bingen. Together, you’ll explore how herbal knowledge was recorded, preserved, and passed down - often through overlooked voices, particularly women.
During the day, you will explore:
