Head to The Organic Centre in Leitrim for the 2026 Apple Festival, a two-day event celebrating Irish food, seasonal produce, local culture, and, of course, the humble apple.
On Saturday 26th September, the festival begins with a special Supper Club hosted by chef Mike Harris of Edergole Kitchen, with a menu showcasing organic, locally grown produce and the late-summer harvest.
On Sunday 27th September, Aeon author Joanna Sweeney will join the festival for a talk and discussion inspired by her latest book, 'Wildcrafting Pathways: Transformative Wisdom for a Regenerative Lifestyle'.
Sunday’s Apple Day will also bring together growers, food producers, speakers, and craftspeople, alongside cooking demonstrations, apple pressing, traditional crafts, local stalls, and entertainment.
